Swashbuckler and Spy's Demise! Reminds me of when I was a young child playing on my grandpa's Apple II. He still has that computer and it runs great, too. But he also has an old iMac that he uses more often.
Thanks for finding this. It is very cool.

Gahhh Oregon Trail!! I use to play that and put in all the people I disliked as members of my caravan so they'd all die of typhus!
But... requires ActiveX???

No, I don't think you're dumb. It's ActiveX, so I don't know of any way to make it run on an Apple, short of VPC or another emulator / compatibility layer. :(
Funny that a site emulating an Apple doesn't bother to mention it isn't compatible with Macs!

Think about how great it will be when the Mactels can run MSIE7 at near full speed! Ahem, yeah, ummm, I gotta go. :o
I am actually kinda surprised they chose ActiveX and not Java for this....
EDIT: Of course, I should mention, in case anyone isn't aware of it, that there are non-online Apple IIgs emulators that run on OS X. You might need to go googling for a ROM file, though. And you *can* still download the disk images from virtualapple.com -- not that it's any less lame for this to have been done in ActiveX. :p
This is it: KEGS-OSX (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/20232) ... finding the ROM shouldn't be that hard.

The URL for the Virtual Apple website is now www.virtualapple.org (http://www.virtualapple.org).
P.S. The Java emulators everyone is wanting are being worked on as we speak. But give it a little time.
