View Full Version : Best "bridge" Mac to connect OS9 and Lion?

Given how Lion doesn't support AppleTalk anymore, the only feasible way to pass files between my Lion iMac and OS9 eMac is via a FireWire hard drive. I read an article on LowEndMac about how a certain PowerBook was an ideal bridge Mac to connect different Mac OSes, but since I don't use System 7 or 8, I was thinking maybe I can use a G4 Mini running Tiger as my bridge Mac. Thoughts?

You could try FTP.

That actually worked beautifully, albeit with a Leopard machine. Still, thanks a lot.
