Apple added a new "Pro" section to its Web site, which hosts categories in Photography, Music, Video, and Science. Current articles profile composer Danny Elfman, writer/director/producer Roger Avary, publisher David Cohen, and Dr. Will Gilbert, a researcher at the Hubbard Center for Genome Studies at the University of New Hampshire.

I wonder if they'll ever have more pro catagories - design, animation, web, etc. And I'm curious how you found out about it, where is the link? Where do they 'advertise' it?

Looks like Apple's going to revamp the 'creative' category on their website to replace the old Garamond-age pages?

( cf. http://www.apple.com/creative/videophoto/ )

Did you just stumble onto this page, or were you directed there by another link?

My guess is that people are using sitemapping tools to spider apple.com it would at least explain how people keep finding all these mysterious things.

Pro section is cool as long as it's imformative and interesting.

Under Hot News, there is a story called Pixel Perfect Africa, when clicked it takes you to www.apple.com/pro/africa
I don't know why Apple hasn't put up a link to the page in the menu yet though.
