Unfortunately this thread may end up in the PF.

Shame is that this may be small town "justice" at work.

The argument about their innocence seems to be cloaked in appeals type errors. I assume they were represented by public defenders. Better representation would have helped them out.

I knew a girl that was working with them about 6 years ago. The status seems to be the same. It's a shame.

Pricey lawyers wouldn't really have made much of a difference. They were stereotyped before the trial even started. That's how they became suspects in the first place.
There is so much evidence out there now, proving their innocense, but the same judge that presided over their trial, is presiding over the appeals.
