It is only an option when the thread is created. Otherwise, only a mod can add one ... what thread, what options?

The one..

"Which product are you most happiest about. iPad vs iPhone" in the iPad-'group'.

I'd really love to add a poll with where you can vote for either

iPhone
iPad

THANK YOU! ;)

- And please, If you can add a poll to another of my threads.

It's the 'Which Apple-product are you happiest about' in the MacBook Pro section.

With a poll with answers:

iPhone
iPad
Mac laptop
Mac desktop
Another Apple product

Thanks in advance :)

The other thread has been closed as a duplicate. I can change the first poll.

Thread Tools – Add a Poll to this Thread (vBulletin, 2014-12)

I don't believe you can add a poll to a created thread …

Try this:
  1. for a topic that you began
  2. beneath the breadcrumbs
  3. the menu bar (dark blue in the screenshot below)
  4. Thread Tools
  5. Add a Poll to this Thread
attachment.php

The option is there for a topic that I began in July 2014. Traverse, hopefully it's not too late for the topic that you began in January.

That's the current routine, as I know it, for MacRumors Forums using vBulletin. Related: Migrating to Xenforo – after that migration, I should expect a different routine.
