"There will not be an Apple Event on the 7th (Thursday) as previously reported across the rumor-mongering Web; apparently poorly worded promotional materials sent to major European clients of Cupertino spawned the kind of game of Telephone that most often produces incorrect reports of this kind. There is, however, a very real Event due in the near future (sources have been unable to give us much that points to a date, absent "whenever Marketing says the next Event is") that we have high hopes for. O well, wasn't expecting anything HUGE to be announced. Just possibly an iTunes phone, but Apple doesn't technically make it (Motorola does) so it isn't as big to me. G5 notebooks would be nice though :p
