whats the maximum capacity of ram a 700mhz g4 imac can have?
It takes a maximum of a 512 Mb PC133 SODIMM in the user accessible socket, and the existing 256 Mb DIMM can be replaced by a 512 Mb PC133 DIMM in the internal "technician only" socket.

Thanks

SO basically its 768 unless you want to crack open your iMac and replace the internal 256 stick to make it 1gb..
