Application for editing music downloads

i have downloaded a lot of techno music and would like to piece it all together to have a long running collection to play at a dance club. what application could i use to cut and splice together these clips of music?

Use Garageband. Just drag the media files that you want from the Finder into Garageband and edit as you see fit. Then just save or export the project as an MP3 or AIFF and you should be all set...

Audacity also can do this really well and it's free!
