View Full Version : Remote App Searching issue, Do you have it?

The remote app for ATV. I love it. But ever since the last update, the search box is inactive for me until I press movies (or something) and then back to music. In other words, if typing in the search box is the first thing I want to do, it doesn't work. This happens on both my iPad 1 and my iPad 3. Just to check if this is something specific to my setup, can anyone else see if they also have his problem?
I completely realize this is the most minor of issues, but it does annoy me....

Oddly, search works ok for me on my iPad's Remote app, but not on my iPhone's Remote app.
All in all, I'd say the user experience of the Remote app with ATV has steadily declined since its introduction. It used to work like a champ. Now it's a sluggish/unresponsive mess, especially after adding iTunes Match into the mix.

Thanks. That's Really weird. I should clarify I am using the remote app to drive the appletv to play stuff from a homesharing library on an iMac.
'clicking' around to various options and back again fixes it, until the next time I open the app. Frustrating.
I believe our iPhone works ok for this, but I'll double check.
