I have had this question for years and have yet to find a solid answer. I hope posing it to the forum will resolve this issue.
I have an iPod Classic 160GB, the first Classic to come out, just before the 120GB with genius came out. I was wondering, there does not seem to be any reason why genius should not run on my iPod as well, except for the fact that Apple has not updated the firmware to include it. The hardware should be perfectly capable of running it. Is there a way I can "hack" the genius feature into my iPod?
