lost sound through hdmi after 10.7.4. update!

Since updating, the sound comes out of my macbook air speakers instead of the TV hooked up via HDMI. Cable works fine. Is there a way to revert to 10.7.3.?

EDIT: My bad, the sound output was simply reset after the update!

To clarify, the settings for your HDMI audio output may have been reset with the 10.7.4 update. To fix these settings open Audio Midi Setup.app from /Applications/Utilities and adjust the Format for your HDMI. You can test the settings by clicking “Configure Speakers...” then clicking the speakers. WARNING: This will cause your speakers to emit a loud fuzz sound if they are configured properly.
