I recently acquired a new 3GS to replace a malfunctioning 3GS. It is running iOS5. I backed up all of the photos and data I needed to iCloud. When I try to restore all of my data to the new 3GS through iCloud, the option to restore* isn't available. Could anybody shed some light on how to resolve the issue, please? Thank you for your time.

I believe you need to be plugged in to a power source, locked and on wifi to do this. Double check to be sure the "on" button shows in the iCloud > storage and backup settings.

An alternative would be to back up to iTunes (an option on the main screen when your device is plugged in via USB), and restore from there. Either way, it's a good idea to periodically back up to iTunes in between iCloud backups so you have a backup-backup on your hard drive... just in case.
