How to get iTunes to stop auto adding mp3s to my library each and everytime I played a song from iTunes???😕
 
It's probably easier to just set MP3's to open/play in some other app like QT or VLC by default, instead of iTunes.
 
No one ever responded to this? All you need to do is go into itunes preferences and uncheck the " add to library" option and you'll be good to go.
