Hey everyone. Recently upgraded my Macbook Pro and iMac at my job to 10.8 so we can do some testing before the new machines come pre-installed with it later this year. Everything went fine with the MBP but the iMac has been incredibly sluggish since the upgrade. I decided to use the recovery partition and restore 10.8.
I launched the partition, erased the hard drive and tried to install 10.8. What happens is checks the eligibility which should be fine and then says "an error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again."
I must have rebooted and tried this a dozen times with the same result. Erasing the partition again does not help. Any ideas?
