Hello,

Short question.

When I have downloaded (from appstore) and installed Lion on my MB, can I make a copy and install it on my iMac ?

The issue

I need to move to icloud to mobile me in order to keep using syncing of cals. mail and most importantly the wonderful Yojimbo.

snowleopard is on MB but only leopard on the iMac

Imagine my surpise and horror when I learnt I had to buy snow leaopard just to buy Lion from the Appstore.

So I heard that If I buy Lion, the licence extends to other machines I own .

So after buying lots more bandwidth and upgrading to 10.6.8 I am finally downloading Lion from the App store.

While this is happening - I wonder what expectations I should have of sunbsequently installing Lion on the other machine ?

Just use the link provided to make a USB key installer from the App Store Lion download. Do this BEFORE you install Lion on the first machine because when you install Lion it erases the installer.

It will install fine on the subsequent machines. Lion is licensed you you on any machines you own.

Lovely - Thank you very much.
