"She's turned my life upside down. She is definitely the woman of my dreams. I couldn't be more happy and don't care about the age gap."
The couple, who live together in Worle, Weston-super-Mare, met at a concert where Simon was playing the organ. Edna restores the instruments.

The important thing to me is that they are happy.

awww bad mental picture
:eek:Gets worse when you try to think how often the happy couple is knocking boots. :o
Hopefully she is old fashioned and likes the lights off, otherwise it's a more twisted porno moment than the chubby chasers.
Then you have to wonder if she takes her teeth out before or after...

Are they that desperate? I'm just thinking there IS a reason why most men don't marry woman 40 years their senior. I think they're more disillusioned, than happy.

Wow, 31 year-old-man marries a 70 year-old-lady....this is just too weird. Well, love often causes people to do weird things.

If this was a 70 year old man, and a 31 year old woman it wouldn't have even made the news, and the couple wouldn't even get that many second looks.

Well if they're happy, I'm happy for them. It'd be interesting to see the reactions if it was a 70 year old man marrying a 31 year old woman...

Kinda like in the movie "Grumpy Old Men."

Exactly, it's just very odd. I wonder how how their family felt...

Did you notice this part?Simon, an accomplished organ player who has been profoundly deaf since he was nine, said: "My life was all about music."
This was amusing too:The couple married last Friday at their local register office, with a 'Roaring Twenties' themed reception.because he was in his own roaring twenties when they met and she was born not long after the original roaring twenties!
