Can I install 8gb on a mid-2010 White Macbook?

im looking to expand the memory of my Macbook and was wondering if i could install 8 gb of RAM. Also, where can i get extra RAM? thanks.

I used PNY in my 2010 macbook white and 8gb works fine. I bought it at best buy on sale for like 30 bucks. Just don't make the same mistake I did and ensure you buy the 1067mhz memory and not the 1333.

Yep.

Got mine from OWC. I got mine for $40 but it looks like they've bumped up the price to an extra $15. Still a good deal tho. You could also try amazon for cheaper ram but you got to be careful and make sure you have the right one.
