# what if..when an app download finishes, there will be some sort of notification that will say, "(app name) has finished downloading" is it a yay or nay?

this might be cool for say downloads from iTunes directly to your device, for example a longer podcast.

but yah, most apps download super fast anyways.

[sarcasm]Just what I want. 4 or 5 notifications popping up in a 2 minute period after an update.[/sarcasm]

Android uses their 'notification center' (I forgot what it is called) to monitor progress of an app download or update. It's been pretty handy, as sometimes when I'm pounding out email on my work Razr, updates come through automatically, such as Google Maps, which I use for navigation. I can check the progress quickly to see if it is done without leaving my email.

I say yay to it in the notification center, not a pop up.
