how to open a .sit folder

hey guys.. i downloaded a .sit file and the mac wont recognize it.... any way to open it?

go grab a copy of sutffit expander
http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html
apples been slowly moving away from .sit

Edit: Yeah but I am lazy to make complete sentences and etc. 🙂

Download stuffit. You can google for it or search the forums. I'm sure someone posted this before.

Edit: I'm too slow and Ben is a lot more informative than me 😎

You can unstuff it with Stuffit Expander, which you can download here. 🙂

Edit: I'm slower than Ben too but at least I'm more informative than Grapes. 😉

There are a number of very user-friendly tools to open .sit files, for example iArchiver.
