Hi there,

I've got the following problem, i'v got a nice cube, with only a vga/adc connector. And i've got a nice 20" cinema display, with only a DVI interface.

Are there thingies which make the cube compatible with the DVI interface? I've looked at the apple site, but i think the 'thingy' they offer does convert DVI to ADC and not the other way around...

Any thought?

I think its This (http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore.woa/90601/wo/ab1OK6mptT5y3Go3QQUUfqMB4bf/2.0.11.1.0.6.12.1.21.1.17.0) that you want.

I saw that one in the store, but i was wandering, as the site sais:

The simple cable adapter allows you to connect your former:

Apple Cinema Display (22-inch LCD - part number M7478/A)
Apple Studio Display (15-inch LCD - part number M7612/A)

i believe these are the old models, are those DVI the same as on the alumium ones?

DVI is DVI

I'm not so sure, there are three types of DVI connections:

1. DVI-D (Digital)
2. DVI-A (Analog)
3. DVI-I (Integrated Digital/Analog)

Are all of these compatible with eachother?
