I was browsing new cameras and I somehow managed to stumble upon the Leica S2. Now, I've always loved Leica cameras, but the S2 is wayyy out of my price range. Do any MacRumors members own a Leica S2 or S2-P? If anyone does, is it worth the money? Got any sample shots that you can upload?

I don't own one either but I don't think it is, unless you're overly rich and a Leica fan.
According to diglloyd, the D800 matches or surpasses the S2 in terms of resolving power and also low light performance, is almost an order of magnitude cheaper, and has far superior usability features to boot.
Not to mention there is an extreme lack of versatility in the S mount lens lineup. There are only 5 lenses made for the camera.
