Are we EVER going to get "active" homescreens? Obviously, it's not a dealbreaker for me since I've gotten the new iPhone every year since the 3G, but there are a few things I can think of that would make my homescreen personal for me. And for those of you who don't want to have an active homescreen, you wouldn't have to enable it.

Is the fact that Android has them, driving Apple to never have something like that because it would look like they're copying Android? They did Message Center without getting too much grief, and their new map app is closer and maybe better than Android. I just don't see why Apple couldn't do it equal or better.
