I was expecting a new UI for iOS6, but they are sticking to the outdated 5yr old theme, of the app drawer always open look

- No Widgets ?
- No Notification message count/list when you first turn on the phone ?
- LED Notification ? Have to wait for iPhone-next this Fall to verify
- No customization, like Swift keyboard, or other things to make the phone different than stock ?

Basically this feels like iOS5.5, the new Maps is really cool, and Siri will be a little more useful than the gimmick it is now. But this doesn't seem radically new or anything, just much needed updates.

Stop expecting things that you know won't ever happen even if you paid Apple 1 trillion dollars. Besides maybe the notification count... none of those things will make it's appearance on iPhone, iPad, or iPod. And if Apple is doing a redesign.. they will do it in pieces. You can't just take something people are use too and flip it upside down.

I wish they would, that would make come back. If they stick with the design from 2007, then I guess the "Nexus" line will always be for me. I like each year to have a radically new designed OS, and different looking device. Not same boring ****, year after year, with the most minor of updates.

Boohoo Apple didn't make iOS how YOU want it.

Well if you listen to these rumors, iOS 6 will have everything you want PLUS more. This is why people are always disappointed with new Apple releases...stop believing everything you read and you won't be disappointed. We all knew Apple wasn't going to give us ALL of that in one release...thats why we have the jailbreak community...at least thats an alternative.

- LED Notification ?

You can turn this on in the Accessibility settings:
Settings > General > Accessibility > LED Flash for Alerts

It's been there since iOS 5 was released.

No, iOS 6 is not an Android phone.
