imac design is retro-mod

By accident I found a site that features vintage "mod" furnishings, such as 60's and 70's lamps, 8-track players, etc. The new imac is retro-mod!!! Why didn't this occur to me before?

I said the iMac looks like the Weltron 2001 8 track player, I have one but is tape player togather with 2 speakers just like it.

somehow I feel the new iMac will be considered a classic by it's retro looks...

maybe we'll see it in a future book on retro mod designs?

The new iMac (why haven't the given it its own name yet?) will herald in the era of PC's that look futuristic. This neo-design wave will crash over the PC market, and then expand out to things like appliances, cars, & homes.

like many did with the iMac's color schemes....
