2011 13" MBA 4GB 256GB SSD i7. How much?

Just for reference. I sold my base 13 to gazelle for 700. So I would think at least $1000 - $1200. Assuming you can find someplace to sell it. Craigslist is useless anymore.

i always have great luck with craigslist. I sold my 2011 13" pro for $1000 within 30 mins of posting it.
Im more of an eBay fan myself. Sold many computers over the years with no issues. Paypal to confirmed address only, UPS with signature required, I should be good to go. I've been reading $1,200 for this configuration is the going rate. That's a pretty steep decline! 🙁
I have had my MacBook pro on Craigslist for months and get nothing but Scam emails. eBay is too heavily weighted to buyers or me. It is way too easy for a buyer to make a claim and get their money refunded.

In the refurb store now for $1199.
If you have any AppleCare on it, then I'd say around $1200. If not I'd say between $1,050 and $1,100.
Same dilemma for me. 11" 2011 ultimate. I think I am going to take the hit and upgrade to a 2012 11" 8gb ram 256gb hdd. Rationale is 1) $100 drop w/ new 2012, so resale pricing on 2011 is what it is 2) I need 8gb ram to run work development vm set to 2gb ram for windows 3) Futureproof for another 4-5 years at least w/ 8gb ram, usb 3, and better thunderbolt chipset 4) Greater percentage drop on resale for 2011 model next year if i wait for Haswell
From a buyer's prospective, I would not buy something from a stranger that is even close to the price that I could buy from best buy, amazon, or apple. I checked craigslist and people with 2010 MBA's are still asking for $1000. I would like to think those 2010 13's should be 500-700 and the 2011 13's would be 700-900 since the pricing on the refurbs and used 2011's are pretty low.

Well, there's always room for haggling on Craigslist.
What I do is check ebay prices, and then take off 10-15% for CL price.
They list on the Apple refurb store for $1199, that of course gives them AC for a year, but I would say $1,100 or so would be in range. The issue of course is anyone looking to spend near $1200 could pick up the base Ivy Bridge model that now comes with 4 gigs, 128gig SSD making the add on prices paid last year worth less.
A co worker just bought this setup with the 128gig SSD for $800 on the local Craigslist, but I think the seller was looking to move it quick for the new model.
Wow. $1199 refurbed from Apple. I wouldn't buy a used one for $1200 if I could buy a refurbed one with warranty directly from Apple. Makes me wonder why all those people on eBay are doing.
If I sell for $1000 and buy the new $1699 model, I get the new processor, 4 more GB of RAM, and USB 3. For $700. Yikes.

I sold my MBA (2011) i7, 256gb / 4gig today a couple of hours ago on CL for $1,100 (asked $1,200).
Mine was in mint condition and had one month of AC left on it. Listed at 8:30 this morning and had the cash by noon. Several interested parties emailed...so definitely a good chance to get that much if you decide to sell.
The new MBA with my EPP discount is $1,594 (for 2.0ghz / 8 gig ram / 256gig drive). So I would net out at about $500 for the upgrade with another year of AC.
AC for year is worth ~$125 (half of what a 2 yr AC would cost)
8gig of Ram over 4 = $100 (per the pricing for the new one)
2.0ghz over 1.8ghz = $100
Free upgrade to Mountain Lion - $20
So I am getting $345 more stuff for $500 (which in effect makes the net cost for a better graphics chip, USB3, faster SSD, quiter fan, 1 yr newer battery, etc = $155).
