During the winter I created a WordPress tech blog as a hobby and pastime (link in my sig). I haven't worked on it much lately, but with the release of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display I'm interested in making my blog Retina-ready. I've Googled this and come up with nothing. Does anybody know how to assign 2x images to be shown on Retina Displays and normal images to be shown on regular displays?

Check out retina.js which is a script for detecting retina displays and loading hi-res images for those devices.
Thanks, that looks very promising. I'll try it out.
For CSS you could use media queries.
Unfortunately, I don't know much CSS (if any). The reason I chose WordPress is because it's easy to use. I'll be taking a lot of computer science classes this fall in college. At that point I may be able to do some more advanced things.
