This is the review I was waiting for.

11" 1.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5

Battery: "I ended up getting 4.5 hours and 4 hours and 25 minutes"
"the battery life of the MacBook Air has reached a respectable level"

Thanks for the post. Awesome review. Exactly what I was looking for as I currently have a 2010 and am upgrading to a 2012.

I have the 2.0GHz with 8GB Ram and upgraded from the 2010 Ultimate. It is a huge difference. Simply amazing difference in Lightroom and Aperture for loading 1:1 previews. FAST, FAST, FAST. I think it is faster than my quad core late 2009 iMac.

Looks much faster than the 2010. I guess when referring to 2010, its the models with the 9400? Or it is the 320M? I see a huge difference in OpenGL performance and I expected better resutls in graphics from that but it looks worse compared with the rest

2010s are 320M

2010s are 320M

Though the initial comments for the 2011 were that they were really faster in CPU benchmarks but just a bit worse on GPUs.

Seems I ll have to upgrade in the near future, as I already find my 2010 base 11'' too slow for basic stuff and the difference seems huge in all aspects.
