Much lesser mails on my MBP than on my iPad2 and my iPhone4S

Good evening,
Few weeks ago, I had more than 2000 mails on my MBP. Since I use iPad2 and iPhone 4S, I get only few 300 mails in inbox MBP. There are more than 2000 showing on my iPhone. How come?
