I am trying to run the Hardware Test on the new 2012 MacBook Air and it take me straight to log-in. I hold down "d" while restarting and nothing. I tried Cmd -d and opt-d. Nothing.
I tried "d" at the display in Best Buy and it worked (confirmed 2012 model).
I am thinking that it could be because I have full disc encryption and a boot password.
Please help.
