Upgraded from 8.6 to 9.2.2 and now my USB mouse won't work!

Any ideas? It has to be a driver problem...but I can't seem to find drivers that work. Plus, didn't OS 9 have USB drivers built in?
 
What brand of mouse it is might help. Maybe try driverguide.com, i used to go there a lot when i used windows, I don't know if they'd have any mac stuff.
 
It's a targus mini retractable optical mouse...but that shouldn't matter too much I don't think.
