When logging into the forums I got a pop-up ad for a survey, is this something the site is putting on or is it just an intrusive ad? I took some screen caps and the site it is associated with is: http://opinionmart.com/.

I'll post the screen caps if you guys need to investigate further.

Yeah, they usually need a screen shot in addition to the URL.

I thought you guys would be aware of whether or not you were outsourcing for a survey so I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of uploading the photos, regardless - I'll post them momentarily.

Thanks for the screen shots. I'm not involved in investigating this sort of thing, but I'm assuming that the FAQ bit about ads (http://guides.macrumors.com/Help:MacRumors_FAQ#What_do_I_do_about_annoying_ads.3F) applies here, and that the pics are useful for those who deal with it.

Yah, and I usually supply them - but it was more of a general question as to whether or not this was something MR was actually outsourcing or if it was actually an intrusive ad. Sorry for coming off like a douche in the last post, that wasn't my intention.

^ You may be right, it may be a case of outsourcing - I just didn't know, so I figured it was safer with screenshots. :)

I'll alert someone who knows about this kind of thing to this thread.
