Microsoft Office update????

Anyone know of any plans to update Microsoft Office for Mac from its current 2004 status?? I wonder if there is anything in the works, or will they wait until the MacTel machines are released in '06??

A while ago I read something saying that the next version will be in synch with the next Windows release (give or take a couple of months). I read that before the Intel announcement though.
 
I hope the Mac version includes everything that is included with the PC version next time and not just Powerpoint, Excel, and Word.
