Hey guys, hope anyone can give me a hand.

I currently have a wireless router in which I connect two iPhones, apple TV and my laptop.
My iMac is hardwired to it through its single ethernet port.

Today I wanted to connect my iMac wireless but somehow when I am asked for the password which I type carefully (I double checked with my ISP) but I keep getting a message that says NETWORK CHANGE DETECTED and it does not connect.

Currently my AppleTV and iPhone are connected to this same Network (wireless) same password... any idea on what is happening?

I deleted my password in my keychain, thinking it was all messed up, problem still exist.

I appreciate your concern and help.

Regards

Juan

The "network change detected" is a standard message that is issued when OS X detects that either the ethernet cable has been pulled or the wifi network has been disabled. It should not prevent you from doing a wired to wireless swap. In fact, I did a wireless to wired to wireless swap a couple weeks ago as I had to take a full TM backup of my iMac.

Try recycling your router and/or your iMac.
