Resolved Best External Hard Drive

I am looking to buy an 2T external hard drive for my iMac that currently runs Lion. I have noticed that some hard drives list don't list Lion as one of the programs it is compatible with. Are there only certain external hard drives that can work with Lion?

Which iMac? FireWire800 / Thunderbolt / USB

Have you considered a NAS?

Every external hard drive compatible with USB 2.0,Firewire 800 & 400,Thunderbold (2011 models and after) or Ethernet should be working.

That is a good question, I think it is a Firewire 800? I am new to this.

Same as mine, you have the Thunderbolt option available as well.

Yep, just format them using disk utility.
