Just an idea, anyone know of a site where they list the last releases of new models? for example, what day were the old 800Ti's release? When were the 667s? I think it would be nice, if this doesn't already exist, for macrumors to keep a page that lists dates, and using this historical basis, build a timeline of when the next updates should be coming. It might be of service to people interested in buying a new piece of hardware 3 months from now... also, just to see graphically the spread...

If you guys think its a dumb idea, feel free to tell me I suck... :D

Here are some sites for the background for most/all of the Macs made by Apple. The program Mactracker (http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=10816&db=mac) provides a general overview of most of these products.

I guess, if you want, you can build your own analysis on when certain products are going to come out. Or you could start studying the stock market and find a relationship for exactly when prices go up at a peak and when a new Apple product will be released at what price. :)
