I was wondering if anyone had any issues with the spec cases for the mac air. i purchased one for a 2010 11 inch mac air and it rubbed and clicked when you opened it. just curious if the 2012 13 inch ones are like that also with the plastic cover and bottom rubbing and clicking on the spine.

I have the speck SeeThru - says it fits new July 2011 and newer 13" MacBook Air. I have no issues with it, fits well, does not make contact or rub and click anywhere. I believe the model # is SPK-AO225 - See Thru Case for MacBook Air 13" (2nd Gen.)
I have one on both my 17" MBP and my MBA...No issues at all, and it's been confirmed in a thread here that the existing case will fit the 2012 models too.
One thing though....I take them off once a month and clean the cases and give my Mac's a wipe too...Very little dust gets by them.
