On iOS 5.1.1 on an iPhone 4S, I notice an odd volume control glitch that I am unable to explain and fix.
Whenever I enable certain apps from the springboard, the volume control would flash on screen momentarily at the very moment that the app starts. This does not happen to very app, but only certain apps. Some examples are the TWiT app and the iCatcher app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but same result.
I have the same apps installed on an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1, and the problem does not happen.
Can anyone please tell me what is going on?
