5 Yrs Later is a photo-application that makes sure you don't forget about your precious moments.

How does it work?
1) Take a picture of a moment that is worthy of remembering (Picture of your newborn, you pranking your friends, a candlelight dinner, ...)
2) Add catchy comment
3) Add friends to share the picture with
4) Select whether you want to receive the picture in 1, 2 or 5 years
5) Totally forget about the moment
6) One day you'll receive the picture by email. I bet this will put a smile on your face.

You can also view your pictures and their release dates on the website: http://5-yrs-later.com. Don't worry, pictures will not be visible before they are released.

App link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/5-yrs-later/id536207651?mt=8

Price: 0.99$

Take a moment to think about the concept and how awesome it will be in some years.

Hi,
Thanks for pointing that out to me. I didn't know that website.

I have to say that it is quite similar indeed. There is still a slight difference. My app is made for people who want to remember a moment in the past. (cfr. The adding friends part).

Future me:
"So send your future self some words of inspiration. Or maybe give 'em swift kick in the pants. Or just share some thoughts on where you'll or what you'll be up to in a year, three years...more?"
