Migrating to Lion after iCloud transition

Hello...
I am migrating to Lion on a new MacBook pro after a short period where I have transitioned from MobileMe to ICloud with Snow Leopard installed on my MacBook... wou
D anyone have any advice on the best way to sync my iCal and contacts lists now that there have been some changes with what is my old computer. Also any thoughts on the migration of my mal account?

Make a backup of both your system, and in particular your iCal events.

It sounds like you've already moved to iCloud, in which case your main contact and event storage is now online.

So follow Apple's directions and you should be fine. The online stuff will essentially be the main depository, and all changes will be pushed from that to your machines that use iCloud.
