I have the iPod, 2nd Gen, and I wore out the FW port. x_x' I have it apart, and I got the soldering iron, the solder, the desoldering braid, everything, but I CANT FIND ANY INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO IT ANYMORE. -_-
All I can find now is companys wanting to charge me 60 and up to fix it, which is more than I paid for it.
It will charge, but not sync. And I figure its the port, since I tried 3 different computers. x_x' And I wanna sync it to my compy, and get it working again, so I can store my new music on it.
