I'll try to keep this simple, and in list form so it's easier to understand my predicament!

- I keep all my photos on Dropbox

- The reason being, I can take, download, and receive them on my iPhone or iPad, upload them to dropbox, and iTunes will sync them across to the iOS photos app next time I sync the devices. No more tedious copying, importing, removing duplicates, and trying to delete all evidence of accidental photos from photo stream.

- I also of course have a "Private" folder of photos which, needless to say, are for my eyes only.

- After doing some research, it appears the only / best way of password protecting the folder is to make an encrypted disk or ".dmg".

- This would mean it isn't accessible by mobile dropbox, which suits me fine, because then I don't have to password protect the entire app.

- HOWEVER. That would mean I need a way to upload photos to this encrypted disk from my mobile dropbox. I'm thinking that to do this, I should have a temporary folder to upload them to, which Automator on my computer will take, open the encrypted disk, put them in, and close it again.

Does anybody know if you can open an encrypted disk and put things in it automatically, before closing it again - all within automator.

If not, do any of you know of a better system for all this?

Thanks ladies and gents!
