Hi, I have a D-Link router (ADSL) and it supports USB storage as mentioned in the web interface.

I have been trying to get it working with my mac but still couldn't do that. I attached a USB HDD and tried to mount it as smb://192.168.1.1. It mounts the volume though I cannot see anything on it or cannot create any content on it. When the USB drive is attached, theres a folder inside the mounted volume with the name U_DISK. But when I unplugged the external drive and mount it, I only see the volume icon but no folder inside it.

What is the file format to be used to format the external HDD ? Any ideas ?
