if i go to the apple store at the mall to get my new ibook and the standard ibook is 40 gigs, do they have 60 gig ibooks as well, or would i have to go online to "built-to-order" (BTO) the ibook in order to have 60 gigs.

in case i'm pissed off with the ibook's lcd screen, if it's not bto then i can exchange it right as much as i want until i get one that is righT ?

also, if i get the 89 dollar printer, with the 100 dollar rebate, would they have it in stock at the apple store.

and finally, when i go to the apple store and i tell tehm i'm a college student, what type of verification would they need in order to see that i'm going to college?

If you upgrade the HD it is considered built to order,

yes it would be a BTO option, they won't have them stocked at the store

as to your other queries, why not call an Apple store, they can give you the definitive answers

Just flash your student id card or show them how many shots you can take
