Interesting Bug

Running the current beta on my iPhone 4s. So I was searching for something in spotlight and noticed I had texts come up that I had deleted I click on them it would bring me to the inbox but couldn't show it because they aren't there but they show in spotlight. Has this been explained?

I'm just guessing but this could be due to spotlight cache / indexing not happening often enough, probably to avoid unnecessary battery draining. Or then they don't have proper cleaning happening in the caching process to get rid of the old stuff.
