Has anyone tried running lion in raid 0 ssd ? Is it possible to do this? How can I create the raid and then restore a backup from TM ?
You should search the forum for this, Raid 0 has been discussed many times. I was running Lion in Raid 0 on two SATA II SSDs with no issues. I've now moved on to a SATA III SSD and really don't need the extra speed from Raid 0. I'm using a 2011 i7 mini.
• Make sure you have a good TM backup
• Setup Raid 0 in Disk Utility - this requires formatting the drives, so all data will be gone
• Boot into Internet Recovery and restore from your TM backup
• If on a older mini, boot from DVD and restore from your TM backup
