If you guys follow the forums a bit, you know i recently traded a 12" powerbook for a 15" powerbook. I very much regret getting rid of "my little baby". Therefor I want to either sell my 15" and buy a 12" or trade the 15" for a 12". Here are my specs:

15" Powerbook G4 1.25ghz
80gb 5400rpm hard drive
512mb ram
2x superdrive
backlit keyboard

cosmeticly, no dead pixels, only a small dent near the left usb part. its not major and everything on this machine still functions 100%. this is only a cosmetic thing, and its seriously not a big issue. i was worried a bit when I traded for this PB, but its not bad at all.

What I want is as follows:

12" Powerbook 1.33ghz or 1.5ghs ONLY
60gb or higher hard drive
the more ram the better
Superdive would be nice, only because i just realize its a 'nice to have' and i dont use it that much.

currently there is no apple care on this powerbook. if yours has it fine, if not thats fine too.

email = carp@projectc5.com
over 100 positive ebay transactions and i have delt on MR before.

Make me cash offers too. I am 65/35 (cash/trade), so money offers will hold higher standing over trade.

Sorry to hear that!

I believe Steveolio is looking to trade his 12" for a 15". Just a couple threads down...

thanks. i saw that thread, but i really need a superdrive. everything else looks great, but external drives are clunky and i am trying to have a more inclusive, all in one, smaller device.

no, i was mostly wondering if this is the same computer, and it seems to be. i like my powerbook and really have no reason right now to have a 15". Hope you find someone to trade with though.

Nobody interested? If its the right machine you trade me, cash could be involved too... i highly doubt this one, but i would be willing to trade for a new iBook if someone didnt want it before they even got it (some cash would have to be involved there most likely)

also cash offers would be great too.

i was looking to upgrade from my current 12" to a new 15". I realize my powerbook does not have enought power to trade and am not looking to trade right now. I was just wondering why you like the 12" over the 15". Thanks

Size really. The 15" is smaller than most pc 15" laptops, but the 12" is really small and i like that. its more portable and the screen size isnt an issue because i hook up to an external display where ever i may end up anyway.

sent email. for everyone else, i was hoping i could get some input on a price. i did an ebay search when i was first trying to get this powerbook and they went from $1500 to $1800. $1500 would be just fine.

also, if my asking price is to high, let me know.

i am also very interested in the new 12" iBook if it has at least a 60gb hard drive + cash. if no one is interested by tuesday, i think i will ebay it.

wow, I am amazed no one is interested. Is my price to high or my trade specs to high? If no one wants a trade, I will sell it outright.

1500 is more than reasonable. I had the exact same model, and sold it with dents and scratches for $1499.

This is still available. I Thought I would add that I just put in a 1gb stick of RAM so it now has a total of 1.25gb.

I am interested in trades for:

12" Powerbooks 1.33ghz or higher
12" iBooks 1.33ghz

out right sale price is STILLL $1500 even after I added the ram.

edit: i will let it go with the stock amount of ram of 512mb for $1400.
