time machine backup with ssd and hdd?

How does time machine backup work if i have an iMac with both an ssd and hdd?? Do i have to do anything different than if it was just a single hdd?

If there's data you don't want to back up, open Time Machine Preferences, select the Options button and add to the Exclusions list.

I should re-word this...will time machine automatically back up contents from both my ssd and hdd?

If they are both mounted, yes.

I have the SSD and HDD 27" Imac. Time Machine works just fine, as I backup to an external USB-2 drive. You may wish to get an external firewire drive, as the backup thru USB is somewhat slow.
