This is just a feeler at the moment, but what are people's thoughts on buying a used iPod that has custom engraving? My iPod has my name and e-mail address engraved on the back.
The package would be:
3G iPod / 15GB, good cosmetic condition, engraved
2x iSkn covers from Lajo -- one in blue and one in hot pink
Original earphones, box, etc.
Firewire or USB brick and cable (your choice)
$110 shipped, Paypal non-credit-card, in the continental US.

Thanks for the feedback. I will post pictures tonight; if there is interest, I will try and get the box and other accessories, which are in Jax, over the weekend. If I sell it now, I'll be selling it with the Firewire charger and cable. My motivation to sell is that I want to give an iPod Mini a try, and there's an easy opportunity present. And of course, I'm thinking I'll buy a new iBook to accessorize with that Mini! :D
As far as battery life is concerned, I have had pretty good experiences. Obviously, I have been using my iPod, but it seems like I still get 5-6 hours, depending on how I use it. I use it daily, and only charge it about once a week.
Also it has never been dropped.
It has been well loved. :)

Here are some pictures. Sorry I had to take the back face picture in another room -- when the flash went off, it was very hard to see details on the back face, because it is so shiny.

2x XSkns (I guess they're called, actually), this one and a blue one:

Heh...sale pending. So remind me to do a feeler when I want to sell my iBook! Apparently it works great. :)

EDIT: I was going to put back on the market in here, but I'm gonna take a moment to exercise my "feeler" and think about whether I really need a new iBook and a new iPod at the moment....
