View Full Version : Is there any way to get notifications when certain sites post new articles?

There are a few websites (such as MacRumors) that I always like to stay up to date with. Is there an App that's pretty lightweight that will put a consolidated notification (for 1 or more posts) into Notification Center whenever something new is out?

Not yet - but if you wrote one I expect you'd make a few pennies.

Twitter for iOS does this as of the last update. I would expect this to be added to OS X soon as well.

I'm sure that there will be an RSS feed reader that supports this.

Just subscribe to the thread and/or forum you want to monitor and set up your preferences to be notified immediately for each new post via email. It's no a separate app but it gets it done...
