Anybody know why the dload link for the divx player aint workin. The sit file dloads but when i try to open it, it sais it contains no data.

well, if you're on a mac, then i wouldnt recommend divx. i had it, and it wouldnt play any sound files. vlc is better at playing divx and avi files. you can find it at versiontracker, ive never had any problems with it

ya im using divx and it doesnt want to play the sound from a movie i dloaded.

First off, welcome to MacRumors! And second, no, it is mac OS X only...
From the VLC Website:
Note: this version does not support Mac OS 9. There is not, and won't be, a version for Mac OS 9.

Its a pain in the butt converting all of my Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion episodes to .MOV with Divx DoctorII. Is there a good divx player for OS9 out?
